Wavy, sun kissed and messy; beach hair is a style that so many of us sought after, all year round. That effortless ‘don’t-care’ look just can’t be beaten. We all want to look like we’ve just rolled onto the shore, sun kissed with hassled locks. The irony is, though, that it really isn’t particularly effortless at all. Well, it is quite effortless in the time it takes to spritz a bit of sea salt spray through your ends and blast it off, but choosing the right product for your hair takes time and consideration.
In an ideal world, we wouldn’t need such products because we would all hang out on the beach all day, everyday, but in reality it just ain’t like that. To help you narrow your choices down, here’s a round up of our favourite beach hair spray’s, that will ensure heaps of carefree texture.
Kerastase, Spray a Porter: £21
As it says ‘on the tin’, this is a spray to go and we wont be leaving home without out. It leaves your hair texturised and, well, ‘beachy’ without the crunchiness.

Bleach London, Swamp Spritz; £8.99
If you have fine, limp, hair this is the product for you. It has extra grip so its perfect for hair that needs a bit of extra body – massage some into your roots for some extra life. The best bit? It smells DIVINE!

O&M, Surf Bomb: £19
This small but stylish bottle is easy to carry with you wherever you go and will help you mess up your locks when a dunk in the ocean isn’t possible.

Sachajuan, Ocean Mist: £18
Small in size and lightly scented with simple but beautiful packaging, as Swedish brands so seamlessly seem to achieve, Ocean Mist is modest but sophisticated.

Aussie, Miracle Beach Waves: £4.69
This is a cheaper, but by no means lower quality product. The delicious smelling spray will add a lovely tousled texture to your hair without leaving a crunchy finish.

Toni & Guy, Sea Salt Texturising Spray: £7.19
This is a light formula so best for those of you who are blessed with naturally wavy hair. Work it through damp hair for a ‘lightly salted’ look!

Bumble and Bumble, Surf Spray: £22
One of the first sea salt sprays on the market, and still one of the best. Surf Spray has become a staple on cosmetics shelves across the globe, and we know why. Its reliable, it smells good and it looks good.

Kevin Murphy, Hair Resort Spray: £18
As far as texturising sprays go, this is a firm favourite. It ticks all the boxes, and feels luxurious; it smells great, adds light texture to give your hair body and extra volume, without making it feel gritty or crunchy.
